Mineral:Datolite nodule
Locality:Centennial Mine, Calumet, Houghton County, Michigan
Description:Sliced section of red datolite 8 mm thick. The front has been polished to show the deep pink color. The raw edge shows minute copper inclusions, probably the cause of the red-pink color. One corner has internal fracture line (does not extend through). Ex. Magill collection
