Mineral:Quartz var. Smoky
Locality:Mount Malosa, Zomba District, Malawi
Description:Long, slender crystal of transparent smoky quartz in quartz matrix. The crystal tapers over it's 6 cm length from 15 mm at the base to 5 mm at the termination. The crystal surface is complexly crystallized. No damage. Stands nicely without stand. ex. Al Sebela (1921-2000) collection
