Mineral:Rhodochrosite with Pyrite
Locality:Kassandra, Greece
Description:Very dramatic large specimen of pink rhodochrosite with minor pyrite crystals. The rhodochrosite crystals are rhombic form (up to 5 cm!!!) with a secondary growth of rhodochrosite on the surface giving a pebbly texture. Very clean, no apparent damage.
