Description:Fascinating specimen of dark red almandine garnet. It is fully crystallized on all sides - no point of attachment. The exterior surface has complex, stepped faces. When illuminated with strong light can be seen to be very gemmy. No damage. Acquired 1970. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #194
