Mineral:Fluorite with Galena
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Large plate of purple, cubic fluorite crystals up to 25 mm. Two large galena crystals are on the fluorite, the best is a 30 mm cubic crystal with octahedral corner faces. Good, old-time specimen from the prolific Illinois mines, now closed.
