Mineral:Quartz pseudomorph after Gypsum
Locality:Crawford, Dawes County, Nebraska
Description:translucent gray quartz pseudomorphs after bladed gypsum crystals to 15 mm. The gypsum crystallized first, then was replaced molecule by molecule with quartz, maintaining the original shape of the gypsum but with new composition.
Overall Size:25x20x15 mm
