Mineral:Calcite on red Quartz
Locality:Dalnegorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
Description:Pink quartz crystals up to 8 cm long. The crystals has complex, parallel faces on termination and prisms. The red coloration may be due to minute rutile crystals included in the quartz. Several colorless calcite crystals up to 2 cm are scattered about.
