Locality:Belvidere Mountain Quarries, Lowell (commonly called Eden Mills), Orleans County, Vermont
Description:Finger-like formation of green grossular garnet (possibly replacing another mineral) crystals up to 7 mm with white diopside crystals along the sides up to 1 cm. See photo of similar (smaller!) specimen in Rocks and Minerals, July/Aug. 1996, page 4. Ex. Clement Mason collection
