Description: | Finger-like formation of green grossular garnet (possibly replacing another mineral) crystals up to 9 mm with white diopside crystals along the sides up to 18 mm. See photo of similar (smaller!) specimen in Rocks and Minerals, July/Aug. 1996, page 4. Ex. Clement Mason collection |
