Description: | Large, dark red chondrodite crystals inmagnetite matrix. The largest chondrodite is well exposed and very complete, though not perfect. Old label on bottom has date of 1895. Hard to photograph - must be seen in person. Ex. Wallace Goold Levison collection (first editor of American Mineralogist magazine in 1919, and inventor of the first movie camera) |
