Mineral:Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite
Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Light green malachite pseudomorphs after azurite crystals up to 20 mm. Minor white calcite crystals between the malachite pseudos. The pseudomorphs have a minute surface texture of parallel faces resulting chatoyant appearance.
