|Smithsonite var. cobaltian
|Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
|Cluster of pink smithsonite crystals on white calcite matrix. The crystals are lustrous, transparent, and have spherical inclusions of yellow mimetite. The pink color is due to cobalt impurities in the calcite and is highly sought-after by collectors.
