Description:Complex crystal of dark red almandine garnet with distinct growth patterns on the crystal faces. The garnet crystal form is very elaborate, not a typical dodecahedral crystal. With rear illumination the crystal can be seen to be translucent. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #63a
