Locality:Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Well crystallized, octahedral crystal of black spinel in white Franklin marble matrix with minor orange norbergite. Collectors notes revised the mineral species to be gahnite with substantiating the change. Looks like other Lime Crest spinels. Ex. R. D. O'Donnell collection #33
