Description: | Large cluster of translucent sulfur crystals up to 2 cm with minor black bitumen in areas. The matrix appears to be translucent brown calcite with etched, cavernous growth patterns. From a rare, old locality. Originally acquired in 1960 from S. Williams. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #R33 |
