Mineral:Fluorite
Locality:west of Fourmile Creek, north of Canon City, Fremont County, Colorado
Description:Rounded, mammilary crystals of purple-gray fluorite 5 mm thick, grown over a central spine (quartz? barite?). Completely crystallized front and back. Fluoresces blue-white under UV illumination. From a one-time find in the early 1980s by Don Knowles. Ex. Earle Sullivan collection (Ct.)
