Locality:(Hansonburg District?), Socorro County, New Mexico
Description:Unusual specimen of colorless, cubic fluorite 2 cm across intergrown in a 3.5 cm hexagonal crystal (calcite? barite?) with a complicated, etched termination. Hard to photograph, must be seen in person. With old label from Schortmann's ca. 1935. Ex. Earle C. Sullivan (1906-2005), author of History and Minerals of Old Mine Park, Trumbull, Ct.
