Mineral:Cryolite with Siderite
Locality:Ivigtut, Arsuk Firth (Arsukfjord), Kitaa Province, Greenland (Type Locality for Cryolite)
Description:Large mass of colorless cryolite. Large cluster on one side of rhombic brown siderite crystals are included in the cryolite. Has blue number indicating it was in the Lechner collection (1900, Austria) but the label is now lost. Ex. Earle C. Sullivan (1906-2005), author of History and Minerals of Old Mine Park, Trumbull, Ct.
