Locality:Baviacora, Sonora, Mexico
Description:Green turquoise pseudomorphs after tapered hexagonal apatite crystals with brown gossan matrix on areas. The apatite crystallized first, then was replaced molecule by molecule with turquoise, resulting in new composition with earlier form. Ex. A. Stevenson (1916-2007) collection #857a
