Mineral:Vlasovite and Gittinsite in Eudialyte
Locality:Kipawa Complex, Villedieu Township, Québec, Canada (Type Locality for Gittinsite)
Description:Transparent yellow vlasovite crystal frozen in pink eudialyte matrix. A white rind of gittinsite surrounds the vlasovite. The vlasovite fluoresces yellow under UV illumination. Very large crystal for this rare species.
Overall Size:6x4x4 cm
Crystals:micro to 2 cm
