Description: | Showy specimen of green dioptase crystals up to 2.5 mm on matrix of colorless calcite crystals up to 1 mm in a hemispherical formation. The contrast of the green dioptase on the white calcite is very attractive. The dioptase is translucent and lustrous. Ex. Earle C.
