Locality:Bethel (Biermann Quarry?), Fairfield County, Connecticut
Description:Doubly-terminated crystals of black schorl tourmaline with milky quartz matrix. These tourmalines are frequently misidentified as dravite, but testing proves they are in fact schorl. Several corners are damaged.
