Mineral:Diopside with Chrome Grossular Garnets
Locality:Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Québec, Canada
Description:Elongated, translucent, green diopside crystals up to 2.5 mm in an interconnected mass. Scattered throughout the specimen are gemmy, 1 mm, green chrome grossular garnet crystals up to .8 mm. Looks beautiful under magnification.
