Description:Old specimen of chlorite-magnetite-amphibole var. ripidolite pseudomorph after an almandine garnet crystal 4.5 cm long. This specimen originated in an old museum collection (#6433 painted on bottom). Excellent large crystal. Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #259; Specimen from Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection #6433.
