Locality:Ratnapura District, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka
Description:Colorful specimen of ruby corundum attached to small chunk of white marble matrix. Two crystal faces show typical striations, the back faces ore obscured by remnants of matrix. The crystal appears to be complete.
