Description: | Single crystal of good, deep blue-green amazonite with no matrix. This specimen is complete and fully crystallized on all sides. No damage. Was donated to a museum by G. Vaux, nephew of the famous W.S. Vaux, and respected mineralogist in his own right. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 6908, donated by George Vaux (1863-1927). |
