Description:Elongated crystals of scapolite up to 3.5 cm long on crystallized albite matrix. Has original museum label, donated by Col. Joseph Willcox whose gem collection is in the Smithsonian Museum. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 7232, donated by Col. Joseph Willcox (1829-1928) ca. 1880
