Description: | Three irregular crystals of smoky amethyst quartz collected over 100 years ago. All three have lustrous crystal faces on the crystallized sides, all other faces are crude contacts to surrounding country rock. Old numbers painted on bottom (Haverford?). With copy of Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection label no. 6052-58, donated by Lewis Palmer (1837-1872). |
