Description:Large black tourmaline crystal (unterminated) probably from the find by Lieut. Wm. A. Mintzer, U. S. N. from a couple of years ago reported in the February 28, 1882 Proceedings of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, crystals to 33 cm. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 7413-16, donated by George Vaux (1863-1927).
