Mineral:Quartz pseudomorph after Anhydrite
Locality:Silver Point Mine, Ouray County, Colorado
Description:Quartz epimorph after a 8 cm anhydrite crystal. The surface is covered with 3-9 mm colorless quartz crystals. The inside is hollow where the anhydrite was (now dissolved away naturally). One corner is open to show the hollow interior. Collected in 1943.
