Mineral:Apophyllite-(KF) and Mesolite
Locality:Kalama, Cowlitz County, Washington
Description:Quartz matrix coated with a mat of fine, white mesolite crystals up to 1 mm long. Perched on top are many lustrous apophyllite crystals up to 10 mm. The apophyllite varies from opaque white to water-clear at the tip of the terminations.
