Locality:West Cumberland Iron Mining District, Cumbria, England
Description:Cathedral-shaped formation of transparent calcite crystals up to 3 cm long. The calcite appears red-brown due to spherical inclusions of red hematite (they look amazing under magnification). Crystallized on all sides, no external damage. From old collection ca. 1890
