Mineral:Gypsum var. Selenite on Calcite
Locality:Morocco
Description:Transparent selenite crystal 4 cm long on matrix coated with small, scalenohedral crystals of yellow calcite up to 3 mm long. Both the selenite and the calcite fluoresce under UV illumination, the selenite phosphoresces too.
Overall Size:6x5x3 cm
Crystals:1-40 mm
