Locality:Commodore Mine, Creede, Mineral County, Colorado
Description:Large (2 cm), complex crystal of translucent, yellow sphalerite on matrix of chalcopyrite crystals. Though the sphalerite is imperfect, it is large and sits nicely on the matrix. See article in Rocks and Minerals 7-8/99:Colorado Sphalerite.
