Locality: | Harding Mine, 8 km east of Dixon, Taos County, New Mexico |
Description: | Vein of deep-pink rose muscovite crystals up to 5 mm running through flesh-colored albite matrix. These specimens were often misidentified as lepidolite, but this occurrence was tested and contains no lithium. The pink color is caused by manganese. |
