Locality:Tri-State Lead-Zinc Mining District, Baxter Springs, Cherokee County, Kansas
Description:Superb cluster of lustrous transparent red sphalerite crystals up to 4 mm on brown limestone with two larger sphalerite crystals up to 20 mm deep in one area with chalcopyrite crystals to 3 mm. The large sphalerite crystals have iridescent blue surfaces. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970); originally acquired ca. 1930
