Locality:Taita Hills, Tsavo West, Kenya
Description:Spongy mass of multicolored corundum varying from bright pink to purple. Mixed throughout is golden-brown garnet. The specimen looks like it might have been enclosed in calcite matrix that was etched away. Some large ruby crystals are in one end.
Overall Size:6x5x4 cm
Crystals:1-8 mm
