Mineral:Tetrahedrite with Chalcopyrite coating on Quartz
Locality:Casapalca District, Huarochiri Province, Lima Department, Peru
Description:Sharp crystals of tetrahedrite up to 2 cm with yellow coating of chalcopyrite microcrystals. Overgrown on the tetrahedrite are colorless quartz crystals up to 5 mm. Two of the tetrahedrite crystals are damaged, though this is still a good specimen. Ex. Fred Pough; Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #M1154
