Description:Large specimen covered on one side with lustrous, black andradite garnet (variety Melanite) crystals. This is a good, large specimen, with no damage - better than any recently mined specimens from this old locality. Acquired from Julius Gisler in 1954. Ex. E.Mitchell Gunnell
