Locality:Smoky Bear Claim, Lincoln County, New Mexico
Description:Single 5.5 cm long lustrous transparent crystal of clear to smoky quartz. Grades from root-beer colored at base to colorless at termination. From an old find, the collecting site is now closed by the US Forest Service.
