Locality:Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Bi-color crystal of transparent spodumene with clean termination and no damage. The color varies from purple in the lower portion to green at the termination. The lower, purple zone fluoresces pink under UV illumination. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #M659
