Locality:Irai, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Description:Sculptural formation of purple-gray amethyst quartz crystals up to 25 mm with colorless calcite crystals up to 9 mm. The calcite fluoresces red-orange under UV illumination. All are grown on matrix of green nontronite.
