|Smoky Quartz with Hematite
|Max Tessmer Farm, Chub Lake, near Hailesboro, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County, New York
|Cluster of smoky quartz crystals with scattered blades of specular hematite mixed in. The quartz crystals are the classic Cumberland-habit: equant, di-pyramidal form (commonly mislabeled as Beta-quartz). Good luster, minimal damage.
