Mineral:Uvite Tourmaline with Actinolite
Locality:Selleck Road, West Pierrepont, St. Lawrence County, New York
Description:Several large crystals of black uvite tourmaline (not dravite, as it has been misidentified in the past) on matrix of greenish actinolite crystals. The uvite crystals are crudely crystallized with irregular faces, but have remarkably little damage.
Overall Size:8x4x4 cm
Crystals:4-40 mm
