Mineral:Fluorite with Goethite pseudomorph after Pyrite
Locality:Unaweep Canyon, 23.5 km south of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado
Description:Translucent crystals of green fluorite up to 9 mm with a single goethite pseudomorph after pyrite 5 mm across. The fluorite is octahedral form and fluoresces violet under UV illumination.
Overall Size:5x3x2 cm
Crystals:3-9 mm
