Locality: | Mex-Tex Mine, Hansonburg District, 8.5 km south of Bingham, Socorro County, New Mexico |
Description: | Large cluster of blue to green fluorite with overgrowth of large, milky quartz crystals. The fluorite is translucent and very colorful - a nice contrast to the quartz overgrowth. Sensel purchased the specimen from Scott Williams in 1958. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #R537 |
