Locality:Somers, Tolland County, Connecticut
Description:Complex cluster prismatic barite crystals with pyramidal terminations. The color is pale blue-gray with a pale brown limonite surface coating. One of the two specimen I was able to obtain from this recent (summer 2003) discovery at a local building site.
Overall Size:5x3x3 cm
Crystals:4-16 mm
