Description: | Superb specimen of two generations of calcite: the first generation are 6 cm chocolate-brown, scalenohedral crystals. Overgrown, and epitaxially oriented, are translucent, colorless calcite crystals. The latter fluoresce orange under UV illumination. Ex. Joseph D'Agostino collection 25GJ |
