Mineral:Actinolite pseudomorphs after Augite (Uralite)
Locality:Calumet Mine, 12 km NNE of Salida, Chaffee County, Colorado
Description:Shallow pocket completely coated with green actinolite pseudomorphs after augite crystals up to 3 mm (commonly mislabeled as Uralite, a discredited mineral species). Two quartz crystals are on the left side of the pocket.
Overall Size:10x6x5 cm
