Mineral:Barite and Calcite over Fluorite
Locality:Minerva Mine #1, Rosiclare Level, Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Blue fluorite crystal 5 cm across completely overgrown with translucent, golden calcite crystals up to 15 mm and white barite crystals up to 10 mm. Clean and undamaged. The calcite fluoresces under UV illumination.
Overall Size:8x6x5 cm
